A meeting of the New Zealand BowlirjAimociation, held at W&fcsou's Hotel on the 25thj was attended by Messrs D. M'Phorson (in the ohair), A. Mathesou, B Hale, J. R. Thornton, M. Siuckir, B. Hog?, J. W. Smith, J. Hislop, A. MaedoDald, B. R, Green, J G. Moore.
The Pkbsident stated that a letter had been sant to the Scottish Bowling Association ex« tending « cordkl invitation to the Scottish bowlers who purpose vwifcing the Australian colonies.
Me Dodds handed iv the following notice of motiou : -" That the rules be altered so that a tournament may be held every year." — It was resolved that this be taken up at a subsequent msbting, of which due notice will be given. The PftESiDKNT stated that the Northern Bowling Association proposed holding a tournament at Wellington next January, and though the association had not received any official notice of same it wks resolved — "That a letcer be sent to the Northern Bowling Aaeoclaiioa intimating that our biennial tournament; will be held in Curistchurch during the first week of February next yeir, and seeicg th*t this was arranged for two ye«rs ago, we trngb that your «s.st.ciatiou will arrange your Exhibition tournament no thtt there may bs no clashing, and thus enable all bowlers desirous of participating in both tournaments bo do so."
