Of < he Glasgow market Messrs John M'Nairn and Co. write :— Butter.— Since our last the market has been quiet, with only a moderate trade ipaseing at unchanged pricea. Danish is now ariiving mixed — that i", Usti^een fodder and grass— and it is difficult to get choice quality. Choice colonial is Bomewiiat scarce at the moment, and the arrivals due beginning of the week are pretty well sold toairive. New Irish is offeiing in f»ir quantity at moderate ijrices New Zealand line, sis to 64s per cwt. ; choicest, 75s to 78s. Cheese.— Market is very sick, and it is difficult to make sales even at reduced prices. There are still arriving heavy consignments of over-kept goods fro-n the States and <"aimla, aud these, with the considerable arrivals of New Zealands, and aUo large quantities of Scotch still coming id, have demoralised the market altogether, New Zealand, 40s to 435.
