THE BANK OF NEW ZEALAND.
London, December 12. The Bank of New Zealand shareholders In Great Britain have formed a committee to oppose the payment of the call recently made by the directors.
The market is resenting the call on the Bank of New Zealand shareholders, and shares will not sell at 15s discount.

A correspondent writing to the Sydney Morning Herald Braggests that the Sydney «hareholders of the B*nk o! New Zealand should meet to discuss the oall.
The looal shareholdert in the Back of New Zt aland held a met ting a short tiino back, and it is understood appointed a comnuittee to watch ovrr and guard their inter^t*. At the instance of the committee a meeting is to be held this afternoon to ooneidtr the action of the bank directors in making the call.
