Mr Thomas Callender reports the return from the Matakitaki Gold Dredging Company (Limited) of Soz up till Saturday. The secretary of Miller's Creek Gold Dredging Company (Limited) reports lloz for one week's dredging. The manager reports that the ground s improving. The Island Block Company washed up on Friday last, for four days' working, the result b.ing 78oz of gold. Since June last lewt and 41b of gold have been won from the claim ; and from present indications, backed up by the last record, the big run of luck is likely to continue for some time.— Tuapeka Times. The secretary of the Dunedin Gold Dredging Company (Limited) received the following telegram from the dredgemaster on Saturday : — "Started dredging on Monday. Ground not properly opened yet." The Dunstan Times reports that Messrs Crossan and Gray had a cleaning up on Saturday week with the result that a cake of 51oz 2dwt was obtained. The amount of stone crushed was 24 tons, so that it will be seen that the mine still keeps up the average of 2oz to the ton. The mine is said to look better at the present time than it has done any time since last Christmas, and all hands are steadily at work with the object of getting another large cake from the mine during the three weeks they have to work before the Christmas holidays. Mr Thomas Callender reports lOoz ldwt gold from the Matakitaki Gold Dredging Company (Limited) for three days ending Wednesday, 7th inst. ; and 55jz 7dwt retorted gold from the Sew Hoy Big Beach Gold Mining Company (Limited) for the past week. The Upper Waipori Alluvial Gold Dredging Cjmpany (Limited) obtained from No. 1 dredge 21oz of gold for five days 16 hours' dredging last week. The secretary of tho Jutland Flat (Waipori) Gold Mining Company (Limited) reports for the weekending 9th inst. :— "2soz 2dwt gold for 144 hours' wages time, 13S hours' actual dredging." Our Bald Hill Flat correspondent telegraphs :— " The Last Chance Company cleaned up the other day with the result of 2030z of gold. The Bald Hill Flat Company also cleaned up some days ago with a result of 1230z." Mr Thomas Callender reports 13oz 12dwt of gold from the Matakitaki Gold Dredging Company (Limited) for three days ending Saturday, the 9th inst. Mr Jabez Burton reports: — "The Roxburgh Gold Steam Dredging Company were unable to dredge again last week. The manager expected to mike a start on Monday. The Ettrick G. S. Dredging Company's wash-up for the week ending Saturday, the 9th inst , was 21oz 7dwt 9gr, value ,£B2 53 6d."
