JUNIOR CUP MATCHES.

The Port Chalmers and Albion Second commenced their match on Saturday on the former's ground. The Port going first bo the wickets totalled 93, to which number Waters (20), M'Donnell (16), and Dobie (12) were bhe principal conbribubors. Rain inberfered wibh the game once or twice, aDd eventually play was 'abandoned for bhe day.

The Green Island bried conclusions with the Dunedin Second on bhe Caledonian ground, and so far bhe game has been very even. The Green Island beam babbing firsb were disposed of for 39 runs, Donaldson (11) being the only one to reach double figures. The Dunedin responded wibh 45, A. M'Lean (18) and Sbubbs (10, nob out) playing well for bheir runs. G. Harraway, M'lntosh, and M'Lean bowled well for bheir respective sides.

The match between the Oceana and Grange Second was commenced at the Oval on Saturday. The Grange batting first scored 45, and the Oceana ree ponded with 23 for three wickets.
