DONALD REID AND CO. have been favoured with instructions from the Council of the Otago University to offer for sale by auction, at the Rooms of the Chamber of Commerce, Crawford street, Dunedin, on Monday, the 29th day of January 1894, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon : Eighteen years' lease of Runs 1 of L, 2 of C, and part of Run 189, Interior Pastoral District (now known as Sections 1, Ohau River District ; 1, Biiimore District; and 1, Benmore Side District), containing altogether 94,330 acres (more or less). The Run will be put up at an annual rental of £3000 for a term of 18 years from Ist March 1894. Possession will be given on the Ist May 1894. The first half-year's rent must be paid on the fall of the hammer, and thereafter by half-yearly payments in advance. Compensation for fencing and other improvements will be payable by the purchaser before possession is given to an amount which wrll be fixed by valuators. There •are dwelling houses, with woolshed, and all requisite outbuildiugs. The township of Clin,ton is on the Dunedin-Bluff railway, 74 miles •from Dunedin. The Waipahi portion of the Estate comes within about a mile of Waipahi .Railway Station. Beautiful streams provide both estates with a never-failiDg supply of water.
