.The Oamaru Mail says:— "On Thursday the members of the Oamaru Club competed for very handsome prizes, presented by the hon. secretary (Mr E. J. Dowling).- The games were played in half-rinks, each player bowling two bowls, 13 heads up, with the following results :—

Madden and Martin (10) beat Cunningham and ' fc Menzles aud Williamson (13) beat S. M'Donald and Lemm (0). , m Orr and Familfcon (11) beat Fleming and Turpie Greenfield and Grant (12) beat Clayton and Donvard 'and Watson (13) beat Mollison and Gemmell (8). _ , ' Menzies and Williamson (13) beat Dorwardjand Watson (S). , _ „ . . Orr and Familton (18) beat Madden and Martin Grant and Greenfield (12) beat Menzies and Williamson (10). Grant and Greenfield (12) beat Orr and Fanulton (8), and won the match." A bowling match between three rinks from the Port Chalmers and Dunedin Bowling Clubs was played on the green of the latter on Saturday, and resulted in a win for the senior club by 37 points.
