1 The manager of the Waipapa Dredging Company reports for ,the week ending 17th inst., as follows :— " We are now doing fairly well ; over 90oz of amalgam for the week. Mr Callender, secretary Sew Hoy Big Beach Gold Mining Company (Limited), has received a telegram from Queenstown announcing that UGoz lldwt retorted gold had been lodged in the bank, and that 40oz amalgam was on hand unretorted — equal to 240z retorted gold. The secretary of the Sandhills Gold Mining Company (Limited) reports 530z Gdwt lOgr of gold •f6r last week's dredging. The Upper Waipori Alluvial Gold Dredging Company (Uimited) obtained from No. 1 dredge 7ozlodwt of gold for live days 15 hours, and from No. 2 12oz of gold for three days three hours' dredging last week. • ,
