WEEKLY RETURNS.

1 The manager of the Waipapa Dredging Company reports for ,the week ending 17th inst., as follows :— " We are now doing fairly well ; over 90oz of amalgam for the week. All is going very well, and the runner, I think, will hold this time. The gold, if anything, is looking better than it was. The tides have been very high lately, owing, I suppose, to heavy weather to the south-east. It has cut down the beach somewhat, but otherwise -has not done any damage." The secretary of the Jutland Flat (Waipori) Gold Mining Company (Limited) reports for week ending 19th inst., 30oz 13dwt gold for 144 hours' wages time. The secretary of the Six-mile Beach Dredging Company (Limited) reports for week ending l(sth inst., 88oz 6dwt amalgam for 100 hours' wages time ; 77 hours 35 minutes actual dredging. Mr Callender, secretary Sew Hoy Big Beach Gold Mining Company (Limited), has received a telegram from Queenstown announcing that UGoz lldwt retorted gold had been lodged in the bank, and that 40oz amalgam was on hand unretorted — equal to 240z retorted gold. The secretary of the Sandhills Gold Mining Company (Limited) reports 530z Gdwt lOgr of gold •f6r last week's dredging. The Upper Waipori Alluvial Gold Dredging Company (Uimited) obtained from No. 1 dredge 7ozlodwt of gold for live days 15 hours, and from No. 2 12oz of gold for three days three hours' dredging last week. • ,
