Thubsda?, Octobbe 29. The Palmeraton and Shag Valley Jockey Club had excellent weather yesterday for their Spring race meeting, and the attendance, although not Urge, was fairly good. Meph settled down to his work from the start, and, although pushed hard by Maori Jack at the finish, won by half a length.
