WHOLESALE REPORT. Wheat: The tone is a good deal firmer, and Oamsru quotations are fully Id per bushel higher, especially for Tuscans, which we quote from 3s 7d f.o.b. (sacks extra), net cash; other sorts, 3s 4d to 3a'6d f.o b., Oamaru terms. Southern wheats are not so much inquired after. Fowls' wheat : Good whole, 2s lid to 3s ; medium, 2s 5s to 2s 7d. Barley has very little inquiry ; malting, 3s 7d to 3s 9d ; milling. 2a 8d to 3s 3d. Oats : Market quiet, but some inquiry is existing for seed lots, which can be quitted from 2s 10dto3s; bright plump feed, 2s 7d to 2a 8d ; milling, 2s 8d to 2s 9d ; inferior, 2s 4d to 2a 6d. Flour: Timaru roller, £9 ss; 50's, £10; Oamaru and town brands, £8 10s ; Southern, £8 ss. Oatmeal : Long ton in bulk, £13 ; in 25's, £13 Bran, £3 103. Sharps, £5 103. Potatoes: Best Oamaru Derwents, £4 5s to £4 10s ; Southern, £4. Pigs : Well fed up to 1801b. 4d to 4|d. Chaff : Well cut heavy oaten, £3 153 to £4; inferior, £3 to £3 10s. Turnips, 17s, loose. Carrots, 35s to 40s. Clover and ryegrass hay, 65s to 70s, Butter : Best Bait has no demand, and prices are nominal. Eggs : We have orders for 20,000d0z. Honey : 4£d to 4^d for extracted. Cheese : Best Akaroa, 4d to 4§d ; factory, od to s§d. Hams and bacon : Hams, 8d to B§d ; rolls and flitches, 6d to 6§d. Grass seeds : Ryegrass— farmers' lots, 3s 3d to 3s 9d ; dressed, 4a to 4a 6d ;

cocksfoot, 3d to 3fd ; clovers, beet English on application.
