Invercargill, February 4. CRICKET. A two days' match between the Frst Eleven of ; the I.C.C. and Star ended to-day in a draw, greatly in favour of the I.C.C. Scores : I.C.C, 79 and 210 ; Star C.C., 37 and 39 for eight wickets. Howarth (16), Twemlow (16), and T. Kingsland (12), were the principal scorers in the I.C.C. first innings; and Burns (107 retired), Watson (23), Kingsland (23), Lillicrap (13), in the second. For the Star, Schnavll (with 10 in the second innings) was the only double figure. Burns' score was rattled up very quickly, and with the exception of a chance of stumping was otherwise faultless. In the second innings of the Star Findlay took three wickets for 9, and Howarth one for 0. M'Donald, (five for 73) was the most successful of the Star trundlers. BOATING. The following are the names of the men selected to pull against the Dunedin crew:— Joyce (stroke), Fred Collins (3), Erskine (2), and Worthington (bow).
