THE LONDON WOOL MARKET.
(Per Pbess Association.)
London, February i. The wool market remains firm, bufc prices are unchanged. Competition for all sorts is keen. Messrs Murray, ' Roberts, and Co. have re-* ceived the following cablegram from their Lon« don house (Messrs Sanderson, Murray, and Co.), dated 6th inst.: — "Market continues strong. Medium greasy merino Id to l£d, and scoured merino and crossbred 5 per cent, above dosing rates of last London Sales. For Western greasy (best descriptions), prices are extreme. For good to extra good greasy merino and merino lambs, demand good 5 for crossbred, market very firm, especially for low sorts."
