Waihemo County Council.
A meeting of this council was held on Tuesday at Palmerston, and attended by Crs Hay (in the chair), Eobertson, M'Leod, M'Laren, and Fraser. • REPORTS. The Inspector reported on Sheehy's road, Moonlight. It would require an outlay of £10 at Kueebon's, and an expenditure of £7 on a small pinch near Sheehy's. The road was not much used. The main road at Moonlight was in most need of repairs. The Nenthorn road was also in a bad state of repair. The main road near Mr Gifford's would be improved by putting in a culvert, which he would have done by the surfaceman. Material for gravelling or metalling was very difficult to get in this locality.
