Crown Lands Sale. There was a large attendance at the Crown lands sale held at the Laud Office, Dunedin, on Friday. Rural sections containing about 5 acres each, at Waikouaiti, and the upset price for which was £2 per acre, brought as high as £11 10s per acre. The education reserves were mostly all disposed ot at the upset rentals. The following are the results of the sales : — SHALL GRAZING KUJfS. Sections 2 and 3, block XI, iiankleburn, 966 acres, John Dickson, at the yearly rental of £83 (upset, £21 3s per annum) ; sections 4 and 5, block XI, do, 1(507 ac es. RUKAL LAND. The sections m block 11, Waikouaiti, were all purer ased by John Gillavery, and they average about live acres each, the upset price being £2 per acre. Section 75 brought £9 15s per acre; sections 93' and 95. £11 do ; section 9(5, £11 10s do. Section 17, block I, Wendonside, 274 acres, was sold to Mary Ann Alice Maher, at the upset, £2 per acre.
