Philosophy on the inside, cut out the work from Minting and Cataract, with Gay Hermit following them for half the journey, when Philosophy was beaten. Her retirement left Minting in clear command from Cataract mid Gay Hermit, and while the last named pair ' OT/e changing paces at the dis^upe, Archer* tcWk pttfe easily upon the favburite, who
