Coa'EO cr.-«sbr>-d has advanced ne&'ly £d to l'l par Ib. Crossbred is in demand, but merino is rather neglected. Hcme bu' era are purchainer fredy. Tne snleg comprise about 320,000 b lea, of which 34,000 ba'es have been sent to the manufacturing di tiiov" direct."

The total quanti'iv of wool available for this terie9 amounts to Blo<>oobiles3, of which 25.0C0 ba og are from the Cape, and the balance from the Australian Col nies."

The National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Z^aUnd (Wanted) have received <he following advices re the London wool sales :— "Tho wool ealea opened on a* par with latt gale 1 ) closing rates, and crossbreds rf all descriptions now sho.v an advance of J'l per )b, while all lvi ds ol me;ino wools have declined about 10 per cent."
