Majot -general Scratchley j and the Hon. Alex. Stuart, Premier of New ' South Wales, are appointed Knights Com- > manders ; and' Mr Garrick, Agent-general in | London for Queensland, Mr Sargood, Defence Minister of Victoria, Major-general Downes, • lately commanding the forces in South Australia, an4~ Colonels Roberts and Drury, are I gazetted as Companiona of the Order. )T =====
