Melbourne, June §, Farther particulars regarding the bank robbery show that the robbers were seen by passers-by to leave the bank and drive off in a cart. Several money-bags have been found empty in Studley Park. June 6. A large public meeting was held in the Town Hall last night, when resolutions were passed in favour of forming a Victorian branch of the Imperial Federation League. Biack trackers have examined the locality in Studley Park where the empty money-bags were found, and have found further traces of the thieves. The examination of Milne Smith, who was arrested on a charge of being concerned in the robbery of the Hovsham branch of the London Chartered Bank of Australia, was concluded, when the prisoner was committed for trial. The police have received important information relating to the Simpson's road bank robbery, and it is rumoured that five men have been arrested in connection with that affair. June 8, The rumourß which were current yeßterday of several arrests having been made in connection with the Simpson's road bank robbery proved to be correct, It was announced to - day that the police had arrested Bix roen and three women in various placeß on suspicion of being connected with the affair. The cart in which the robbers drove off has also been found, and identified by fcboss who saw it at tho thne of the robbesy.
