The Auckland coursing meeting was finished on Friday. Mr Buckland takes the first prize of £30 ; iVJr Hugan second, of £20; and several piizes of loss value will also be distributed.

A meeting of the Southland Coursing Club was held at M'JKellar's Brooksdale Estate, Tapanui, on Thursday, 24th. There was a large attendance, and some grand sport was witnessed. Hares were scarce in the morning, but more plentiful afterwards. Five pounds were taken at the gates.
