The Bank's affairs are conducted with every degree of care, ability, and zeal, and with the utmost desire to make the best of everything for the benefit of the shareholders. As has been said by the chairman in his remarks, there have been times of very great difficulty, and possibly the difficulties may have been very much more troublesome and harassing to the Directors than the shareholders have any notion of. However, we are happy to know that these things have been got over, and that by skilful direction and management the Bank has been steered through these troublesome and stormy times, and that we are now getting into still water, with, I think, everything favourable for increased business and a larger division of profits in the future. The rough minutes of the meeting were then read and adopted, and the meeting terminated.
