MARTIN, • under instructions from the School Commissioners, will offer for sale by auction, at the Crown Lands Office, Dunedin, on Thursday, 31st August, at 12 o'clock, The Leases of the following magnificent grazing properties :— Run 254b, presently tenanted by F. W. Ibbotson, Esq., comprises 16,690 acres of splendid Bheep country, situated in the Wendon District, South of Switzers, well grassed and watered. Lease for 14 years. Upset rental, 4d per acre. Run 193, south of Run 254b, and same district, presently tenanted by F. W. Ibbotson, Esq., comprising 14,800 acres fine country, similar to 254b Lease for 14 yoars. Upset lental, 4d per acre. Run 175b. comprising 114 500 acres, Wendon District, presently tenanted by F. W. Ibbotson, Esq., finely grassed and watered, and lies south-east of Run 193. Lease for 14 years. The Auctioneer desires to call special attention to this rare opportunity of securing Runs for 14 years on an indefeasible tenure, and with valuation for improvements at end of lease; also, their excellent quality, situation, and close proximity of most of them to railwaystations, affording facilities for the economical and speedy transit of stock either to Dunedin, the Bluff, or Invercargill markets. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE : The first half-year's rent to be paid on fall of hammer, either by cheque marked by banker or in cash, and thereafter by half-yearly paymentß in advance, on the Ist day of September and March in each year. Possession will be given on the Ist March, 1883. Valuations for improvements, if any (which shall in no case exceed three times the amount of the average annual rent paid under existing leases), are to be paid to the Secretary to the School Commissioners at Mb office, Colonial Bank Buildings, Danedin, one month before getting poa session. The new lessee shall be entitled to valuation for improvements up to a limit of three yearß' rtntal.
