One of the most important considerations involved is the distribution of risks, which is., here secured through the division of population and, consequently, of insurable -property, amongst numerous centres as yet but sparsely occupied. The largo proportion of substantial buildings now being erected may also be noted as a feature favourable to the limitation of risks in this enterprise. »one of the most profitable branches of Marine Insurance is in interprovincial and intercolonial business, a large proportion of which the promoters have reason to rely upon. . , 'In the allotment of shares tho Provisional Directers will endeavour to secure an equitable distribution throughout the Colony, so> as to combine a powerful association of investors for the security of the assured,, together with persons likely to influence busiuess. ■Agencies will be opened throughout tftw Colony as speedily as possible, and local Director! appointed.
