Mr and Mrs Darrell closed their engagement afc the Queen's on Saturday last, and are about to leave for Wellington. Me and Mrs Bates opened at the Queen's on Monday, with " Elizabeth, Queen of England," and were enthusiastically received by a good house. Mr Davies, the ventriloquist, with his excellent company, including the wonderful man-fish, is still at the Temperance Hall. Mr and Mrs Hoßkins are now at Christchurch, aud Miss Carry George and R. W. Lawrence are with. Collier, at Auckland.

Palace Ampitheatre Circus. — "The great success which attended Signor Ohiarini's circus adventure to Australia, has determined the proprietors of the Palace Ampitheatre Circus to try their luck in that country. The company already engaged for the tour includes Omar Kingsley (Ella Zoyara), as manager ; the Jackley family of gymnasts, one of the cleverest troupes in the States ; George Shields, John Cook, Albert Herbert, Miss Linda, and Madame Leon as equestrians ; Charles Lee and John King as premier clowns.. They will start, it is expected, by the October mail that leaves San Francisco, at present they are performing in Nevada Territory.
