RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR WOOL-SHEARERS.

1. Shearing to commence each working day at sunrise, and end half an hour before sunset. 2. Meal times from eight to 9 a. hi. for breakfast ; and f r in one to two p.m. for dinner. Morning smoke half an hour, from quarter to till a quarter past eleven. Afternoon smoke for twenty minutes, from four till twenty minutes past four o'clock. No sheep to bo caught, after the bell sounds for mealß of rest. 3. No man to shear more than 100 sheep per day. 4. Every sheep to b8 shorn closely and cleanly, and the fleece taken off whole, " Tomahawking " will in no case be allowed, neither will clipping or chopping be tolerated ; the wool must be taken off at first blow. JSvery breach of this rule will subject the shearer to a fine or deduction of a score of sheep from his tally. 5. All sheep to bo carefully handled. Any shearer illtreating a sheep by kneeling upon, kicking, compressing the nostril*, violently branching the neck, or otherwise illusing the auimal, or iv the habit of making vnts and gashes, will be discharged ; and *i«j money shall be paid to such shearer instil the termination of the shearing, '#. using obscene or abusive language, or being absent from work without permission, will be fined in sums varying from 5s to 20s, at the option of the sujierintendent. Any man found bringing grog to the station will be discharged.
