FOOTBALL.
The Committee appointed at the recent meeting of the Dunedin Football Club to obtain suitable ground for the approaching Auckland match, provided the Southern Recreation Ground be not available, has been very successful. Mr Anderson, of Caversham, has kindly consented to allow the Club the use of his extensive paddock, which n centrally situated and almost level. The following football players have been selected to practise for the forthcoming match with the Auckland team :— A. K. Smith, J. White, T. Macfarlaoe, F. R. Smith, H. Rose, S. Lambert, J. C.
