Tuesday, 24th August. (Before T. A. Mansford, Esq., R.M.) CIVIL CASES. Judgment for plaintiffs, with costs, was delivered in the following cases against Mr Strachan, the contractor. Mr Joyce appeared for plaintiffs :-R. Fong, Ll7 8s 9d; Shy Lls ; Haggitt, L 29 10s ; Pole, L3O. y * Vellone v. Sayers — This was an action brought to recover the sum of LSO, value of tools and clothes left by plaintiff in defendant's charge. Mr Joyce for plaintiff. The defendant admitted his liability for a portion of the things enumerated, but was in doubt as to the exact quantity committed to his charge. Judsr ment for plaintiff for Lls and costs was given Uendall and Another v. Newbery, agent for Brogden and Son.— This case, adjourned from * t day ' was brou Sht to recover the sum ot L.bß, tor stone material supplied to the order of defendants. The case was heard at the former sitting, and adjourned for jud"ment In delivering the latter His Worship said that the defendants had failed to prove in evidence as had been attempted, that the plaintiffs had been instructed to cut stone according to tt>m plates, or that the templates had been supplied tiffs, for L6l lßs 6d, with costs.
