THE OTAGO UNIVERSITY.
Tho consideration of Mr Batbgate's resolutions with reference to tho University was robumed. After some hor:ourable members had expressed approval of the leaolutions, they were put to tho Houho, and carried unanimously.
THE LAND RESOLUTIONS. The House wpnt into Committee upon the Land Resolutions brought down by Mr Bathgate, for the purpose of making some slight additions to three or four of the clauses. The proposed, additions were made, and progress was reported. OTAGO ROADS RILL. On the motion of Mr REID, the above Biil waa read a third time, and passed. SHEEP ORDINANCE, 18(56 (SOUTHLAND), REPEAL UILL. On the motion of Mr BATHGATE, the above Bill was read a third time, and passed.
