Mr G. F. O. BROWNE moved, " That in the opinion of this Council it is desirable that ground applied for under the Agricultural Lease Regulations, and refused on account of its auriferous nature, shall be reserved for mining purposes, j and that the Government be requested to instruct the Wardens accordingly."
