LAND SALES.
A sale of sections, situated within the township of Oamaru, was held there, on the 10th inst., Mr Shrimaki acting ad auctioneer for the Government. 112 sections were sold at L 3 each ; 72, at prices between, L3and L 4; 11 at L 4 each ;33 at prices between L 4 and L 5; sat L 5 each ; 23 at price* between L 5 and L 6 ; 6at L 6 each ; 13 at prices between L 6 and L 7; 4at L 7 each j 17, at prices between L 7 and L 8 j 3 at L 8 each ; 7at prices between L 8 and L 9 ; 2at HO each ; lat LIO 103 ; 2at LlO 15s eich ; lat Hi ; and lat Ll2. The total amount realised by the sale was L 1379 Is6d.
