DUNEDIN PRODUCE REPORT.
April 12,1867.' Mr C. W. Lorenzen, Produce Salesman, Jetty street, reports :—
The market is wtll supplied with oats, the price being 2s. 9d. to 2a. lOd. per bushql. There have been buyers for shipment, Our millers are well stocked with wheat, an,d prices remain as quoted below. The two malting breweries here are overstocked with barley, and prices are a trifle lover. Potatoes are kept buck by the growers and are worth now L 3 lOs. The following are the latest quotations :— Wheat.— -4s to 4s 3d ; inferior, 3a 9d per bushel. Floub.— Best, Town, dull of sale, £10 10a per ton. Sharps.— £B to £8 10s per ton. Bran.— ls 6d per bushel Barley.— for malting, 4s 9d to 5s per bushel. Oats.— 2s 9d to 2s lOd per bushel Maize.— 43 to 4s 6d per bushel. Chaff.— best hay chaff £4 10s to £5 per ton. Hat. — Oaten, £4 to .£4 10 s per ton. Eye Grass, Hat, and Clover. — £3 10s to £4 per ton. Hat.— Clover £3 to £3 10s per ton. Jmraw. —£2 per ton. Eye Grass Seed.— from 53 6d to 63 per bushel. Potatoes.— £3 IOs ; pigs, £2 10s per ton. Corn Sacks— l6s 6<l per dozen. Guano.— £lß per ton. Bone Dust.— £B per ton.
