HHENDERS are Wanted by the Provincial -»• Government from parties willing to contract for the Construction of portions of the Main Line of Road through the Tokomairiro. TpENDERS in Duplicate will be received at A this Office, until 4 o'clock of the 27th day of MAY, 1860, from parties willing to Ply a Paddle ot Screw Steamer Between Dunedin and the following places, viz. : — Bluff, Invercargill, Jacob's River, Moeraki, and Oamaru. Also from parties willing to Ply a Steamer Between Dunedin and Taieri, as far as the Waihola Lake ; Clutha, as far as the Ferry ; and Waikouaiti ; and also to call at Mataura, provided there be offered not less than 15 tons of cargo to or from that part. Burthen of first-mentioned steamer to be about 120 tons. Burthen of small screw steamer to be about 50 tons. The service to be performed for two years.
