EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT MEETINGS.

A MEETING of the Persons liable to be ■XX. assessed under the Education Ordinance will be held in each District, upon the 29th day of October, at the places and at the hour respectively undermentioned:-" Dunedin District — Within the Mechanics' Institution, at 6 o'clock p.m. Green Island District — Within the School-house, at 6 o'clock p.m. Taieri District. — Within the School-house at 6 o'clock p.m. Tokomairiro District — At the House of Mr. James Smith, at 7 o'clock p.m. Clutha District— -At the house of John Shaw, Esq., at 12 o'clock noon.
