MARRIED,

On Tuesday, 23rd Oct., at the residence of the bride's father, John Richard Jones, Esq., of Matainaki, Waikouaiti, eldest son of John Jones, Esq., of Dunedin, Otago, to M.viiy, fourth daughter of John Orbell, Esq., of Hawkesbury.

We have to thank a contributor for a description of the country in the neighbourhood of the Bluff. The contribution is in type, but owing to the pressure of other matter, we are compelled to defer its publication until next week. Mr. Proudfoot's letter was received too late in the week for immediate publication. It will appear next week.
