Otaki Football Club.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual general meeting of the above Club was held in the Cosy sam-ple-rooms on Monday evening. There were an attendance of about 45, over which Mr. J. McGill presided. The minutes of the last annual meeting were read and confirmed. The secretary’s report and balance-sheet were read and received, and after discussion, adopted. The balance-sheet disclosed a credit balance of £6 11s 'sd, while the report embodied the generous assistance given to the Club by Mesdames J. McGill, H. Nicolson, and -J. Bailey (who ably controlled the shop day), the Natives (who helped at the social to the Maori rep. team), the ladies who worked hard at the victory dance, and Mr. E. S. Morse, who shared with a picture entertainment for the benefit of club-fttnds. A hearty vote of thanks was carried unanimously to the above. Elliott; Junior Selection Committee, left to Management Committee to select; Delegates to Union. Messrs J. McGill, W. C. Childs, S. Elliott, B. Penney and O. Nilsson; Auditor, Mr. W. Ogicr (re-elected); Coaches, H. -JacQ<, (senior), J. Warnock (junior). It was decided that the club-keep the same colours (green) as last year. The subs, were fixed at 5s for senior, 2s lid for junior, with 2s 6d fee for insurance in each case. It was resolved to again have the light on the domain for practice. A grant of two guineas was made to the secretary. After discussion it was decided to write to the Borough Council and ask that body to erect the southern goalposts. It was also resolved to'asli the'Council to remove the eastern fence on the domain to a position nearer the grandstand, and running in a line towards the gate. It was pointed out that this work could bo done under the Unemployment .Scheme (No. 5), while it would avoid the necessity of removing portion of it each year for the cricketers.
