Birtles and Wm.Y Ramsay, Nightcaps, appeared as a deputation to 'the ,Council to ask for better access to their properties m the shape, of a stock bridge over the Aparima river. They offered to do the carting, make the approaches, and assist .the'' Council all they could, as m the meantime they have no access at all m times of, flood. — Left to Member and Engineer to inspect and report. . J. A. Pears, Nightcaps, applied for .permission id" erect a motor gate at 1 north boundary of Etalvale Run adr - joining Durirobin with Mr W. Bona, and a similar gate at Etalvale south boundary with Mr Wm. Ramsay.-—Per-mission, granted, subject to approval of Engineer and during the pleasure of the Council! 1 R. Key, Town Clerk, Lumsden, applied for assistance from the Council ' towards the. cost (£80) of buying a piece of land for a new cemetery.— ■ Held over for , Clerk to' look into the, J matter. F. Ridder, Tuatapere, asked that the Government grant for Merrivale i Te Tua road be spent.—W riter. and ■ those interested to apply to the Minister for Lands for a deviation of the present road before the grant is spent. P. H. Morey, District Engineer, N.Z.
