At a meeting of the Western Distiict Sub-Union, held m Riverton on Easter Monday, the following fixtures were decided upon :— First round-^-Orepuki v. Riverton, at Riverton, May Bth; Nightcaps v. Otautau, at Nightcaps, May Bth; Nightcaps v. Orepuki, at Orepuki, May 22nd ; Riverton v. Otautau, at Otautau, May 22nd ; Orepuki v. Otautau, at Otautau June sth ; Riverton v. Nightcaps, at Riverton, June sth. The local season opens to-morrow with a practice match, on Mr McGarvey's ground, which was obtained through the medium of the President (Mr Gonley).
