The aingular sight of two servant girls throwing dice for charity money has been witnessed at Guildford, Kent. The charity is known as "Maids' Money," left, by John How, m 1674. Each year there is a competition for a cheque for £11 9s. The dicethrowers must have been employed for two years m one service m Guildford, but not at an inn. Laura Cadman secured the cheque for 1907 with a double-six, Emma Trimmer throwing six and three.
