OAONUI BRANCH CARD PARTY RESULTS The ladies of the Oaonui W.D.F.F. held a series of card, par tvs during the winter months. First evening: Hostesses were Mesdames I- Crawford and Pentelow: Euchre prize, Mrs. J. Bishop, Competition, prize donated by Mrs. Knofflock, was won by Mrs. F. Clegg. Second: Hostesses Mesdames: Cook and Fleming: Euchre prize Mrs- Davis, Competition, prize donated by Mrs. J. Strong© was won by Mrs. Knofflock. Third: Hostesses Mesdames Field and G. Lusk, Euchre prize Mrs. E- Clegg. Competition, prize donated by Mesdames Field and G, Lusk, was won by Mrs. A. Harvey.

Fourth: Hostesses: Mesdames Knofflock and G. McQuaig, Euchre prize Mrs- R. Lusk, Competition, prize donated by Mrs.. M. Gibson was won by Mrs. Pentelow. The winner of the euchre points prize, donated by Mrs. H. White, was Mrs- E. Clegg. August Meeting 1 The August meeting was well attended with Mrs. White in the chair, Mrs. White extended a welcome to Mrs. J. Simposn a new member. Recipients of birthday sprays were Mesdames Gilberd and, Pentelow. It was reported that 13 ladies took the 8 sewing lessons under the Sarah Ann Rhodes Scholarship Scheme, supervised by Miss Hit chon and Miss ThomsonA very comprehensive report on the provincial meeting was given by Mrs. Dalton. Those packing food parcels were Mesdames Fenton and J, Strong©’. A competition arranged by. Mrs. White was won by Mrs. PirimonaWandering shilling', won by ‘ Mrs. J. Stronge.
