BEST MAN’S TROUSERS A wedding was delayed recently at St Mary’s, Geelong, Victoria, because the trousers of the best man’s new suit wex-c without buttons. The suit was delivered the day before, but the groomsman left it in a box until he was ready to dress for the wedding. He then found there were no buttons on the trousers. The bride and groom wore waiting impatiently at the church. Two guests rushed to the best man’s home, and found him sitting with iiis trousers half-on, trying to sew on the buttons.

They finished the job, and took him to the church.
