Pcnalligen when digging in his property in Auckland. The coin, which was found in volcanic soil about a foot below the surface, was in a remarkably good state of preservation, although! it may have been in the ground for the best part of a century. Sutter for the East Indicating the possibilities in the East for New Zealand produce, the first consignment of butter to be taken bv the recently inaugurated South Pacific Line will be loaded at Auckland by the Maetsuycker to-day.
