TO-MORROWS MATCH

VISIT OF HAWERA PEOBABLE If the weather continues fine, a fast game of Rugby football should eventuate at the Domain to-morrow afternoon when the local fifteen will be opposed by Hawera, a team that has made a very marked improvement during the past few weeks. yt In the ranks of the visitors are "i, some heady, skilful backs who will need \o be watched very closely at all stages of the match—for in a game similar to that of last Saturday, a smart inside back might easily upset the most carefully planned arrangements of a versatile pack. Up and under tactics have brought more tries to Opunake than any other, style of play this season and our fast following forwards are always there to take advantage of any fumbling among the opposition. Opunake possesses two very fast wingers in the Malcolm Drothers, both of whom are adepts at in-passing when going at top speed, but more often than not, splendid opening of this nature are allowed to go begging through lack of support and anticipation. Certainly, both players ffet off the mark like a streak of light, but surely among our backs we have someone who can keep pace and take advantage of such an opening. The greens will be up against a solid side to-morrow and every avenue must be exploited to th" lead early and keep it. AH goinir well with the team in the meantime they should be quite caiiable of winning the match. THE JUNIOR TEAM The Opunake juniors to play Rahotu at Opunake at 1.15 tomorrow will be picked from the following: Clements, Gadsby, Rowlands, Minhinnick, Holland, Lambert, Neumann, Trotter, Crawford, Feaver, Baylis, McNae, Mauriri (2), Forsythe (2), Sexton (2).
