MR J. E. HART.

The death of Mr J. E. Hart at, the Thames Hospital- on Monday last removes another old Paeroa b^y from ouv midst. The deceased was a man in the prime of life, and was well known .to the whole countryside. For many years he was employed as a teamster by several local firms and was also for a time engaged in the carrying and contracting business, and later still as a taxi-car proprietor. His only brother, George, left with the Main Body, and was wounded on Gallipoli and has since been engaged in clerical duties in London. His wife predeceased him a few years ago, and he now leaves two young children, two sisters, and a brother to mourn his loss.
