IN ■ pursuance of "The Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act, 1893," and ''Tne Electoral Act, 1902," I, Fuederick Duncan Fekgusson, Returning Officer for the Licensing District of Ohinemuri, do hereby give I notice that the tallowing persons have j been duly nominated for the position of Member of the Licensing Committee for the Licensing District of Ohinemuri: — FREDERICK COCK, EDWIN EDWARDS, WILLIAM FORREST, CHARLES FRANKLIN, THOMAS GAVINT, , HENRY WILLIAM GUTHRIE, JOHN KENNEDY, EDWARD ERNEST JAMES PITCHING, , JOSEPH NATHAN, JAMES-ORE, franuis PAvrrr, THOMAS JAMES STANLEY. A Poll for the election of-FlV'i' Members from the above will, be taken at the several polling-places' in the said district, commencing at nine o'clock in the morning, and closing at six o'clock in the evening of TUESDAY, THE THIRTYFIRST PAY OF MARCH, 1903. NOTICE OF POLLING DAY, IN pursuance of "The Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act, 1893," with its amendments, and ." Che Electoral Act, 1902,"I, FREDERICK DUNCAN FERGUSSON, Returning Officer for the Licensing District of Ohiuemuri, do hereby give notice that an election will be held for the return of FIVE qualified persons to serve as members of the Licensing Committee for the suid distvict; and that the latest day for receiving nominations will be TUESDAY, the TWENTYFOURTH DAY 0^ MARCH, 1903 ; and that the Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several polling places of the said district, on TUESDAY, the THIRTY-FIRST DAY OF MAKCH, 1903. Every person desirous of becoming a candidate must be qualified under Section Six of " The Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act, 1893 "; and must be nomiuated by not loss than two electors of the snid district, by a nomin-. atioii paper as prescribed by Section Ninety-nine of " The Electoral Act, 1902," delivered to the Returning Officer not later than five o'clock in the afternoon of Tuesday, the twenty-fourth day of March, 11303; and must signify to the Returning Officer his consent to the nomination ; and the said candidate, or some persou on his behalf, must deposit at the same time with the Returning Officer the sum of Ten Pounds, in accordance with Section One Hundred of " The Electoral Act, 1902."
