In reference to the Talisman, no proposals are before either the company or the New Zealand Exploration Company in the direction indicated. ALFRED—CHRISTINA. A meeting of shareholders in the Alfred and Christina special claims was held last week at the office of Mr H. Gilfillan, junr., in Auckland. It was decided to form a company, to be called the Omega Gold Mining Company (no liability); with a capital of £5000 divided into 100,000 shares of Is each, nil paid up. The following appointments were made:—Directors, Messrs A. Kidd, H. Brett, J. J. Craig, and E. M. Corbett;, legal manager, Mr H. Gilfillan, jun. ; bankers, National Bank .of New Zealand; auditor,' Mr Wildman., This property consists of nearly 200 acres adjoining the Alpha Gold Mining Company's property, Waitekauri, in a south-west direction.
