Bos Murphy Beaten

LONDON, Dec. 13. The New Zealand boxer, Bos Murphy, was beaten on points by Ronnie Crookes, of England, in a dull sixround contest at Harringay last night. Neither had a destrucitve punch. Johnny Williams, the principal contender for the British heavy-weight title, was surprisingly beaten by America’s “Big Bill” Weinberg at Harringay last night, Williams retired in the sixth round with an injured left arm when well ahead on points.
