Shop Proprietors Struck Down

NZP/i—Copyright Rec. 10.30 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 14. In the second hold-up in Sydney within six hours, a man and his wife in Elizabeth street, Central City, were bashed by three bandits armed with knives and guns. Mr and Mrs Isaac Feder, proprietors of a radio shop, have been admitted to hospital with head and body wounds. They were struck down when they tried to prevent gunmen stealing jewellery from their shop. The men escaped into a crowd leaving the Feders lying in pools of blood.
