Situation.—A ridge of high pressure covers New Zealand. -\ Forecast to Midnight.—Moderate north-easterly to north-westerly winds freshening on the coast; some coastal cloud and morning drizzle; otherwise fair weather; temperatures warm inland, elsewhere moderate. Further Outlook.—Cloudy. Weather in Dunedin.—A total of llhr 18min of sunshine was recorded in the city yesterday. There was no rain, but a strong north-east wind prevailed. The maximum temperature was 62deg, and the minimum temperature was 53.8 deg. Pressure was steady during the day. the barometer reading at midnight being 3C.loin.
