DUNEDIN TRAVEL CLUB CHRISTMAS PARTY
The annual Travel Club Christmas party was held in the Tudor Hall on Tuesday night. Guests were welcomed by the president, Mrs R Hudson, and Mr W. R. Brugh was chairman. Greetings were extended by the Mayor, Mr L. M. Wright. The hall was filled to capacity, and the decorations included a large Christmas tree. Gifts were handed to all the guests from decorated baskets. Incidental music was provided by Masters Boucher and Sheridan. Items were given by the following:— Solos, Mrs Ross Fenton; duet, Misses Shirley McCracken and Iris George; playette, North-East Valley group. An amusing “ quiz session ” was conducted by Mr Kerry Jordan, Miss Pamela Mathias and Mr Ken Adams. Accompanists were Mrs John Leech and Miss Eunice Steadman.
