Tentative Starting

Dates

The trolley bus passenger service between Bond street and Opoho is expected to begin on either December 23 or December 30 with three trolley buses and some Diesel buses.

The inauguration of the service will depend on the arrival from Christ-church-of. Dunedin’s third trolley bus. This is expected, to leave Christchurch on Saturday morning and to arrive here on Sunday. If the vehicle is not to he completed and ready for towing down at the week-end, its departure from Christchurch will be put back further by the holiday there on Monday for the centennial celebrations there.
