Art Display At Library

On display in the Oamaru Public Library is a collection of original water colours by a Christchurch artist, Mr Cranleigh Barton. The artist is a former student of the Slade School of Art. London, and his collection includes studies done in many parts of the world, such as the pictures of the Taj Mahal and of St. Peter’s, Rome. Others have been painted in Oamaru and the surrounding district.
